Postdoc Scholar, University of Chicago

I am a postdoc scholar at the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Chicago's Biological Sciences Division.

My long-term career objective is to conduct research that improves long-term care and post-acute care for vulnerable older adults. Some of my recent work focuses on the trend, the geographic variation, the generosity of Medicaid Home and Community-based Services, and their effects on various outcomes among Medicare-Medicaid dually enrolled individuals. I am also interested in the access to and the quality of care in nursing homes. I hold a Bachelor in Medicine in preventive medicine from Peking University, an MS in health services research from the University of Michigan, and a Ph.D. in health services research and policy from the University of Rochester.
